  • Disneyland Paris Packing List: What to bring for the most magical trip ✨

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. All links of this nature are highlighted. There’s nothing quite like the excitement of getting ready for a Disneyland Paris trip! Packing for the parks is a special kind of joy, but also a bit of a puzzle. In this post, I’m sharing my absolute must-haves  for a magical Disneyland Paris experience.   This list is specifically for park days, so you won’t see the usual holiday packing bits like toiletries and underwear, I’ll be doing a separate post on that soon! So don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten the hygiene essentials 😉   Top Tip : Thinking of bringing a selfie stick or an extendable tripod? Don’t. I had to bin mine at security and let’s just say… it wasn’t my finest Disney moment 😅 ✨ Essentials for Disneyland Paris Parks ✨ Comfy walking shoes  - My go-to are my Dr Martens (well broken in), no matter the weather. Comfort is everything when you are walking 20k+ steps a day! Weather-appropriate layers  - Even in summer, a light jacket or hoodie is a must. Those evenings can get chilly! Disney-inspired outfits  - There’s something extra magical about dressing in theme. I love finding budget-friendly Disney pieces in places like ASDA or Primark before I travel. Disney Ears  - While park official ears start around €20, my favourite pair are ones I got on Amazon with an elasticated headband (no more sore behind the ear pain!). Click the picture below to check them out. Minnie Mouse ears from Amazon and Loungefly Mini Backpack Waterproof jacket or poncho  - I usually wear my leather jacket out and about so I bought these rain macs on Amazon that can go over it if it decides to pour! Hat, gloves & scarf (in colder months)  - So many rides and queues are outdoors, you’ll thank yourself for layering up! PJ’s or loungewear  - After a long day in the parks, nothing feels better than comfy clothes back at the hotel. 🎒 What’s In My Park Bag? 🎒 The Bag:  I use my Loungefly Mini Backpack . These are everywhere  in the parks now, but I love how compact and cute they are… and I still haven’t seen anyone with the exact same one as me! Bag Must-Haves: ✨ Loungefly Bag Insert Organiser ✨ I picked mine up at DLP for €30 (€27 with my annual pass). You can find the regular Loungefly one on Amazon for £25 here . Disneyland Paris Loungefly Bag Insert Organiser ✨ Small Purse ✨ To be perfectly honest, my purse never left my bag. Everywhere in the parks and village, including the kiosks, accepts contactless with your phone. Just make sure the account you use doesn’t have international charges on it. That said, a bit of cash is useful for tipping at restaurants. ✨ Hydrating Lip Balm ✨ Trust me, your lips will thank you… especially on outdoor rides. I managed to pick my favourite one up in France for €6.99. I also carry a plain Vaseline stick which has SPF 15 for added protection. ✨ Mini Makeup Bag & Mirror  ✨ For quick touch-ups and photos throughout the day. ✨ Sunglasses ✨ Trust me these are a must, even in winter the glare can be real! ✨ Hand Sanitiser ✨ Queuing = touching everything . A must-have for hygiene! ✨ Hair Clip & Silk Scrunchie ✨ Perfect for when you just need to get your hair out of your face. Also good for stopping your hair getting tangled on rides! ✨ Water/Juice ✨ I always make sure I have something to drink at hand. You’ll find refill stations throughout the park if you bring your own bottle. ✨ Compeed blister plasters ✨ A lifesaver. Even with comfy shoes, the walking can catch up with you fast. ✨ Tissues ✨ Park toilets are well maintained, but they do get busy. I always keep a little pack of tissues on hand, just in case. ✨ Sanitary products ✨ Always keep a few in your bag… because you never know! There’s nothing worse than getting caught out with a surprise period! ✨ Snacks ✨ I bring sweets and cereal bars with me to keep energy levels up. You can even sneak a croissant from breakfast into a ziplock bag for a mid morning treat. ✨ Power bank/portable charger ✨ You’ll use your phone a lot…  maps, wait times, photos, and games while queuing. A charger is essential. 📱 Tech and Travel Must-Haves 📱 Disneyland Paris App  - Perfect for checking ride wait times, making reservations, and finding your way around. Park Tickets/Annual Pass/Photopass  - Keep them handy! Disneyland Paris Silver Annual Pass and Photopass Hotel Reservation & Travel Insurance  - I always keep a digital and paper copy just in case. EU Plug Adapter  - France uses 2-pin plugs, so don’t forget yours! 🌙 For Hotel Downtime 🌙 😴 Sleep mask  - Some hotel rooms let in more light than others. Daisy Duck Sleep Mask From SHEIN 🩱 Swimsuit  - A pool session is the perfect way to unwind and rest your feet. 🧦 Snuggly Socks and Hoodie  - Essential after a long, magical day in the parks. Standing in front of the Disneyland Hotel - Paris Packing for Disneyland Paris doesn’t need to be overwhelming, but it can be magical. I love the ritual of pulling everything together before a trip and thinking about all the memories that are about to be made. Let me know, what are your Disney packing must-haves ? Did I miss anything? I'd love to hear what makes your trip extra magical! ✨ Movi x

  • Navigating Eczema Flare-Ups: My Skincare & Makeup Routine for When My Skin Fights Back

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. All links of this nature are highlighted. Honestly, I’m so ready for this cold, miserable weather to pack up and leave. Every year, without fail, the drop in temperature invites my eczema to make an unwelcome appearance on my face - and let me tell you, it’s not just a physical struggle. It messes with my mood and confidence, especially on days when I feel uncomfortable stepping outside without makeup. But over time, I’ve learned how to work with my skin instead of against it. I’ve crafted an eczema skincare and makeup routine that lets me feel put-together, even during the worst flare-ups. So, if you’re battling dry patches, redness, or irritation, I’m sharing what works for me in the hopes that it might help you, too. Step 1/3: Gentle, Hydrating Skincare The key to managing eczema is hydration  and kindness to your skin . No harsh exfoliators or stripping cleansers - just gentle, soothing products that calm inflammation. Cleanse, tone, serum or essence, moisturise .  Cleanse:   Start with a fragrance-free, gentle cleanser that doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight and dry.  My go to products:   Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water   and The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm . Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Top tip: If my skin is feeling very dry or irritated, I skip the cleanser entirely and just use a damp cloth to wash away any dust or hair oil that could have settled on my face overnight.  Tone:   I used to avoid toners because they often made my skin sting as many are very chemical . But then I discovered the Byoma Hydrating Milky Toner , and it honestly feels like it cures my dryness the moment it touches my skin.  This product is a holy grail for me. I haven’t tried other Byoma products yet, but their Hydrating Serum  and Phyto-Mucin Glow Serum  are on my list! Serum/Essence:  This step acts as another level of hydration to lock in by your moisturiser.  My favourite:  The viral Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence  - honestly this was the product that drastically  reduced the amount of peeling on my lip eczema. If snail mucin isn't your thing then Byoma have a few serums that seem to be a great alternative.     Byoma Hydrating Milky Toner and COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Moisturiser:   Now anytime I see a post or video from someone with eczema sharing what moisturiser works best for them I buy it. However, the eczema girlies will know the horrifying sting of trying something that does not help your skin whatsoever.  My tried and true product:   Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion  (dark blue pump) with the soothing triple oat complex and Shea butter.  Ingredients to look for: Ceramides, colloidal oatmeal, or shea butter - but always do what works best for your skin.  Lip balm:   Lip eczema is probably the toughest area for me confidence wise. I’ve had it for 10+ years now and when my lips flare, it’s incredibly upsetting.  The best product ever: If there’s one product you take away from this post let it be this one. Uriage Bariéderm-CICA Protecting Lip Balm . This is the only product that consistently stops my lips from peeling. I always have at least 3 of these in my house at a time because I refuse to run out. Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion and Uriage Bariéderm-CICA Protecting Lip Balm. Top tip:   When I apply my toner, snail mucin and Aveeno to my face, I also apply them to the eczema on the back of my hands. Then I layer La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume  on top to seal in the hydration. It’s been a game changer over winter! Step 2/3: A Thoughtful Makeup Routine Makeup can be tricky during a flare-up. My goal is always to enhance rather than mask, as heavy coverage can sometimes draw more attention to dryness. Look for products labelled hydrating  and avoid anything that is matte - matte products might look good at first, but they can quickly cause flaking! Now I would always recommend wearing as little makeup as possible during a flare up but personally I struggle to leave the house with confidence without a full face. Here is my makeup routine with the products I use every day. Primer:   A hydrating primer  smooths your base and gives your makeup something to grip to without settling into dry patches.  Currently using: SHEGLAM Good Grip Hydrating Primer  (a dupe for the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip). I also like the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer  which is perfect for travel!  SHEGLAM Good Grip Hydrating Primer How I apply:  I pump a small amount onto each cheek, forehead and chin, then spread it with my fingers. Colour corrector:   Green cancels out red,  so a good corrector can work wonders on eczema-induced redness.  My pick: The best green corrector I’ve ever used - Erborian CC Red Correct  (SPF 25 included!).  Erborian CC Red Correct How I apply:  I pat a small drop into red areas and gently rub in with my fingers until the green disappears. Concealer:   Serum based concealers  are a lifesaver for covering redness without emphasising dryness.  My favourite:   NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum  (with tremella mushroom, cica and green tea).  NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum How I apply: I pat a small drop onto red areas and under my eyes, sometimes adding more after foundation if needed. Foundation/Tinted Moisturiser:   In the summer, I use a light tinted moisturiser . In the winter, I mix it with a hydrating foundation  for extra coverage.  Summer fave: Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator .  Winter combo: Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator  and e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation .  e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation and Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator How I apply:  If you are mixing your tinted moisturiser then you should do this on the back of your hand before applying to your face. However I have eczema on my hands so I apply the drops directly on my face and blend with a damp beauty blender. Sponges are a lot gentler than brushes on dry, flaky skin.  Contour and Bronzer:   Powder products tend to emphasize texture, so I reach for cream or liquid formulas for a healthy glow.  My go-to:   Made By Mitchell Curve Case . I use shade Coolectable for my contour and Creme Carve for bronzing.  Made by Mitchell Curve Case How I apply:  I use a brush to place the product and then blend with my beauty blender.  Blush:   Don’t fear blush! Cream blush  can give you a healthy flush that draws attention away  from redness.  Current fave: e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush in Dusty Rose ).  e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush How I apply: I apply this from the stick straight onto my cheekbones and then blend in with my beauty blender.  Setting Spray:   Instead of powder, I finish my base with a dewy setting spray  to lock everything in place.  My favourite:   e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray . Sometimes I’ll take this out and about with me and spritz my face to freshen up a bit. e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray Eyes & Brows:   If my eyes are irritated, I skip this step entirely. Otherwise, I use my cream bronzer or contour  as a subtle eyeshadow, a tinted brow gel  to define my brows and mascara  to coat my top lashes.  My current picks: NYX Thick It. Stick It! Brow Mascara in Brunette , and e.l.f. Lash n Roll Mascara   (a dupe for Benefit Roller Lash ). NYX Thick It. Stick It! Thickening Brow Mascara e.l.f. Lash n Roll Mascara Hygiene Tips: Always make sure your hands and nails are clean before applying makeup with your fingers.  Wash your brushes and sponges regularly, even replace your beauty sponge every few weeks to be safe. You can get multipacks relatively cheap on Amazon ! Make sure you brush your teeth before doing your skincare so that you’re able to clean off any excess with your cleanser as fluoride on you face can be very drying.  Step 3/3: Emotional Self-Care Managing eczema isn't just about products — it’s about mental well-being, too. On days when my skin feels like it's at war with me, I remind myself that my worth isn't tied to my appearance . I practice self-love affirmations, wear cosy clothes that make me feel good, and sip endless cups of peppermint or green tea . My Eczema Makeup Routine: Final Thoughts Living with eczema can be frustrating, but building an eczema skincare routine that supports your skin and your confidence makes a world of difference. It’s okay to have bad skin days - we all do. The important thing is to treat yourself with kindness , both inside and out. Do you have a go-to product or tip for dealing with eczema? Share it in the comments - I’d love to try it out! Movi x

  • Positive Skincare Affirmations for Bad Skin Days

Because your skin doesn't define your worth. Ever. We all have those days. The ones where your skin feels tight, sore, red, or just... not how you wish it looked. Maybe your eczema is flaring, maybe you woke up with a fresh breakout, or maybe your skin just doesn’t feel like you  today. Bad skin days can be frustrating, especially when you’re doing everything right . But here’s your gentle reminder: you are still beautiful. You are still worthy. And you are not alone. So here are some positive affirmations I turn to when my skin needs a little kindness, and so do I. Save them. Say them in the mirror. Whisper them while applying your moisturiser. Let them sink in like your favourite calming balm. 💬 Positively Skin-Soothing Affirmations Because healing isn’t always visible. My skin is healing, even if I can’t see it yet.   I trust my body to take care of me.   This flare is temporary. I’ve made it through before, and I will again.   My skin is not the enemy… it’s communicating with me.   Rest is productive. So is moisturising for the 10th time today. 💖 Confidence Boosters Because your worth has never been skin deep. I am more than my skin.   Redness doesn’t make me any less radiant.   I don’t owe anyone flawless skin to show up confidently.   I can be kind to myself, even when I feel uncomfortable.   I am allowed to take up space… just as I am today. 🌿 Daily Self-Care Reminders Because your routine is an act of love. I’m doing my best, and that’s enough.   Every step in my skincare routine is an act of self-love.   I deserve to treat myself gently, especially on hard days.   I honour my skin by listening to its needs.   I release the pressure to be perfect. I choose progress and peace instead. Bad skin days are tough, but they don’t get the final say. You are doing amazing, even when your skin doesn’t feel like it. Redness does not make you any less radiant. If you’re interested in the skincare and makeup products I use on my dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin, click here . If you have a favourite positive affirmation, I’d love to hear it in the comments. Let’s build a little library of kindness for each other. 💛 Stay soft, stay strong, and moisturise again if you need to. 😉   Movi x

  • The Magic of Planning a Disneyland Paris Trip ✨

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of booking a Disneyland Paris trip - whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. The moment that confirmation email lands, I’m already daydreaming about Mickey-shaped snacks and magical moments. Who else starts planning outfits before the trip is even official?   I have my flights, accommodation, and transfers all arranged, and as an annual passholder, I don’t need to worry about buying park tickets for this trip. If you’re thinking about getting an annual pass, make sure to check the block-out dates on the official Disneyland Paris website so you don’t get caught out!   Now that the essentials are sorted, my mind is already buzzing with all the details that make the trip extra magical.  Planning Ride Strategy & Must-Do's on Your Disneyland Paris Trip   One of the first things I think about when planning a Disney trip is my ride strategy. The parks can get busy, so I like to have a rough idea of what I want to do first each day.   My own wee photo of Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Paris I always start my Disneyland Park day with Big Thunder Mountain , it’s a must-do for me, and the queue builds up quickly! If I’m heading to Walt Disney Studios Park, I make a beeline for Crush’s Coaster , since the queue very rarely drops below a 90-minute wait throughout the day.   I also love using Premier Access  for certain attractions when the park is busy, especially for Peter Pan’s Flight , where the queue time can get pretty long. And if I’m not in a rush, I always make time for classic rides like Phantom Manor , because is it really a Disneyland Paris trip without a visit to the spookiest house in Frontierland?   Dining Reservations & Must-Visit Restaurants    No Disneyland Paris trip is complete without some delicious meals and character dining experiences!   I like to plan ahead and book a few sit-down meals to break up the busy park days. Bistrot Chez Rémy  is always high on my list, not just for the food but for the immersive theming. There’s something so special about sitting in a restaurant that feels like stepping straight into a movie scene!  Reservations go fast, so set a reminder for two months before your trip  if you’re booking through the Disneyland Paris app or website. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you can book as soon as your reservation is confirmed!   Outfit Planning for the Parks    Next on my planning agenda: outfit line-up ! Comfort is key for long park days, but that doesn’t mean skipping out on Disney style.  I start mentally coordinating my  Disney-inspired outfits , making sure to pair them with comfy shoes for all the walking (I’ve learned that lesson the hard way a few times, blisters are not magical!). My go-to shoes are Doc Martens (the soft leather ones) and Converse , and I always pack a few pairs of ears to match my outfits.   Park Bag Essentials    As the days inch closer, I start curating my park bag essentials . My Disney Loungefly mini backpack  is a must and inside, I always pack: A waterproof jacket (because you never know with the weather!) A portable charger  (for capturing all those magical moments) Hand sanitiser  (a theme park essential) Snacks!  Sweet treats in the park can be pricey, so I always bring some of my favourites - like Haribo and cereal bars - which can go through airport security without any issues. I also like to bring a  small notebook  to jot down special memories throughout the day, whether it’s a new ride experience or a must-try snack for next time. It’s such a lovely way to capture the magic in real time!   Evening Traditions & Magical Moments    After a long but magical day in the parks, I love ending the night with a few special traditions.   One of my favourite things to do is watch the fireworks with a glass of Champagne or mulled wine in the winter,  it’s the perfect way to end the day. There’s something so magical about standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle as the sky lights up with dazzling colours and music.  Raising a glass to Mickey & Co! If I have time, I also like to take one last night-time ride on Pirates of the Caribbean  - there’s hardly any wait as the park nears closing time, and sometimes we get on it twice in a row!  And of course, no trip is complete without one last snack stop  before heading back to the hotel. Whether it’s grabbing a Mickey-shaped treat  or a hot chocolate from Market House Deli , it’s the perfect way to soak up those last few moments of Disney magic before calling it a night.   The Best Part of Planning… The Countdown!    But the best part of planning? Imagining all the little moments that make a Disney trip so special.   ✨ Strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with a hot chocolate in hand ✨ Watching the fireworks light up Sleeping Beauty Castle ✨ That first exhilarating ride on Big Thunder Mountain.  Even after countless visits, the magic never fades…and the countdown makes it all the more exciting!   I’ll be posting lots of Disney content before and after my trip, so make sure to follow along!  Let me know in the comments - Do you have any must-do traditions when planning a Disneyland Paris trip? I’d love to add more ideas to my pre-Disney ritual! Movi x

  • How to Create a Cosy and Productive Morning Routine

Mornings set the tone for the rest of the day, and having a cosy yet productive routine can make all the difference. Whether you’re craving slow, peaceful vibes or want to kick-start your energy, crafting a morning routine that feels comforting but functional can genuinely transform your entire day. I’ve been experimenting with my mornings lately, and I’m excited to share what’s been working for me — maybe it’ll inspire you to create your own perfect start to the day! A cosy cup of tea next to an iPad with the time on it for a productive morning. Where to Start - My Productive Morning Routine: 1. Wake Up Gently (No More Startling Alarms) Gone are the days of being rudely yanked out of sleep by a blaring alarm. I swapped mine for a sunrise alarm clock that gradually brightens my room, and it’s been a game changer. You could also try waking up to a favorite song or even letting natural light do the work (if you’re lucky enough to have a window that cooperates). Waking up gently helps me start the day feeling refreshed instead of frazzled. 2. Hydrate (But Make It Fancy) Before I even think about tea or coffee, I drink a big glass of water. I like to make it feel a bit luxurious — adding lemon slices, or some frozen berries. It feels like a small act of self-care and wakes my body up from the inside out. Bonus points if you drink it out of a fancy glass! A wine glass filled with water and frozen berries to kickstart your morning routine and have a productive day. 3. Stretch or Move (Even Just a Little) I’m not about an intense workout first thing in the morning, but a few gentle stretches or a light yoga flow make a huge difference. On days when I’m feeling extra ambitious, I’ll take a short walk on my walking pad or do a quick 10-minute workout. But honestly? Even just rolling out my back and stretching my arms is enough to shake off that sleepy stiffness. 4. Enjoy a Warm Drink (Your Built-In Self-Care Moment) There’s something magical about those first few sips of coffee or tea in the morning. I try to make this moment intentional — sitting by the window, wrapping myself in a blanket, and just being present. It’s a tiny ritual that makes mornings feel special. 5. Practice Mindfulness (Even for 5 Minutes) I used to think mindfulness had to be a whole production, but it doesn’t. Even a quick journaling session, a few deep breaths, or a short meditation can bring some calm and clarity. I’ve been loving writing down three things I’m grateful for — it’s such a simple way to shift your mindset. 6. Plan Your Day (But Don’t Overwhelm Yourself) I like to keep my planning light in the mornings. I’ll jot down my top 3 priorities for the day or make a loose to-do list. Having even a rough plan helps me feel grounded and ready to take on the day without feeling overwhelmed. 7. Create a Cosy Atmosphere (Because Vibes Matter) I’m a big believer in creating a space that makes you feel good. Soft lighting, a favourite candle, and calming background music can turn an ordinary morning into a cozy sanctuary. Even something as simple as wearing fuzzy slippers or draping a blanket over your shoulders adds that extra bit of comfort. Personally I love the Disney Relaxing Music Collection with Fireplace on YouTube - instantly sets the most calm atmosphere for me. 8. Get Ready with Intention (Slow Down & Savour It) Instead of rushing through getting ready, I try to treat it like a ritual. Whether it's doing my skincare, putting on a little makeup, or choosing an outfit I love, giving myself time to ease into the day makes me feel more confident and ready to tackle whatever comes my way. Final Thoughts A cosy and productive morning routine doesn’t have to be elaborate or time-consuming. It’s all about adding little touches that make you feel good and starting your day with intention. Pick a few habits that resonate with you and build from there — even the smallest changes can create a ripple effect on your whole day. I’d love to know — what’s your favorite part of your morning routine? Share your tips in the comments so we can all inspire each other to make mornings something to look forward to. 🌸 Movi x

  • Meditation and Mindfulness: Manifesting Your New Era

Lately, the phrase "meditation and mindfulness" has been thrown at us over and over as a way to be at peace with ourselves, slow down, and pull ourselves up and out of an anxiety hole or depression spiral. But what does that actually mean? Meditation and mindfulness have gained serious traction in recent years, often heralded as essential techniques for managing stress and getting closer to a better sense of well-being. The magic lies in their ability to help us cultivate a deeper awareness of our thoughts and emotions — the good, the bad, and the chaotic. They give us permission to hit pause on life’s relentless pace and just *breathe*. Meditation and Mindfulness: Immersing in the Moment It’s all about immersing ourselves fully in the present moment. Mindfulness gently pulls us away from our two favorite pastimes: dwelling on past regrets and stressing about the future. This practice invites us to observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment, creating a space where we can acknowledge emotions and let them pass through without being consumed by them. As I’ve started to lean into this mindset myself, the benefits have become undeniable. Meditation and mindfulness are like mental life rafts, helping me stay afloat when the weight of anxiety and low moods starts creeping in. The simple act of focusing on my breath or following a short guided meditation gives my brain a breather, helping me reset and face the day with a little more clarity. Even just a quick Google search will show you the science behind it — regular mindfulness practices have been shown to lower cortisol (that pesky stress hormone) and promote feelings of calm and relaxation. And let me tell you, those are words I never thought I’d genuinely understand, but here we are. In a world that can feel overwhelming, learning to slow down and reconnect with ourselves is a superpower. So let’s embrace it. Let’s create a little sanctuary within ourselves — a place to retreat to when life starts feeling a bit too loud. My Personal Affirmations Routine One of the simplest yet most impactful practices I’ve added to my routine is daily affirmations. And before you cringe, hear me out — this stuff works . Every morning, I take a few moments to repeat positive statements about myself and my life. Even on days when I don’t fully believe them, saying affirmations out loud helps shift my mindset over time. Phrases like: - "I am capable of achieving my goals." - "I embrace challenges as opportunities for growth." - "I deserve happiness and peace." - "I am proud of how far I’ve come." - "I’m going to show today who’s boss!" I write them down in a journal (which is also a great excuse to buy a cute notebook, by the way) and use them as little checkpoints throughout the day. This routine has genuinely helped me face obstacles with more confidence and kindness towards myself. On rough days, revisiting old affirmations reminds me of how much progress I’ve made, even when it doesn’t feel like it. If you’re not sure where to start, try picking one affirmation that resonates with you and say it every morning for a week. Write it on a sticky note, set it as your phone wallpaper — whatever works. The key is consistency, and over time, you might just surprise yourself with how much it changes your mindset. So now, it’s time to find that mirror, look yourself in the eye, and tell it exactly what it needs to hear. You’ve got this. What affirmations keep you going? Drop them in the comments — I’d love to add some new ones to my list! Movi x

My Vision For The Blog I’m going to share my own take on the current trends, as well as how I’m going to start managing and organising my life - in terms of decluttering, cleaning, eating, etc. I’ll be sharing posts on budget-friendly self-care and cosy living tips. I’m more than happy to take suggestions on what to post, and constructive feedback is always appreciated! So honestly, I’m winging it a bit with where to begin. I’ve been in a bit of a slump recently with my mood generally low, my skin is always irritated and I feel bloated and uncomfortable more often than not. My aim here is to brighten my life, making better choices for myself and trying to be more conscious of my decisions instead of the detached approach I’ve had the past few years. My goal is to document all the different things I’m trying, and sharing what works for me and what doesn’t. Everything will be affordable, with budget-conscious alternatives wherever possible. I will try and make most posts easy to achieve as I get distracted far too easily when things get complicated. Fingers crossed I will be able to help other people trying to get into blogging or just trying to find a purpose in life. Basically this will be me trying to be accountable for everything I’m trying, as I am amazing at making lists, but not so amazing at following through! Can you relate? Follow along for updates on my journey and reach out when it feels right. We can muddle our way through and explore a cosy, decluttered lifestyle together. Drop your ideas or questions in the comments - I’d love to hear from you! Movi x
